What is 25G WDM Transponder?

 25G Transponder (OEO) service card launched by HTF, supports four types of service access with 16 to 32G rates. Its main function is to finish the 2R re-generating and re-shaping of any 4-channel signals under any protocol within the rate of 25 Gbit/s to be accessed, and then convert them to optical signals of a standard DWDM wavelength or standard CWDM wavelength, so that the multiplexing unit can conduct WDM for optical signals of different wavelengths and also achieve the inverse process of the above process. It’s applicable to the wavelength division transmission solution for 25G rate services, and compatible with 16G or 32G FC.

The 25G WDM Transponder Supports Eight Flexible SFP28/SFP+ ports Suitable for Wavelength Conversion and the Transferring Application.
The 25G WDM converter can be used as a transponder or as a repeater and regenerator. It provides a range of options for repeating optical data signals, converting them to other optical or electrical formats, or combining multiple fibers onto a single fiber.

 SFP28 Multi-Rate Quad Transponder has 8 SFP28 slots, The device provides a flexible transmission of various protocols, such as 100M/1G /10G/25G Ethernet, SDH STM1/STM4/STM16/STM64, Fiber Channel 1/2/4/8 /10/16/32Gbps, CPRI, etc.

The SFP28 transponder supports multi-rate functionality with optical data rates from 1Gbps up to32Gbps;The wide range of optical infrastructure solutions includes media conversion, signal repeating, lambda conversion.
